Youngsters take to streets during Easter holidays

A further student protest is taking place today, this time focussing on the plight of plastic on the environment.

Youngsters are taking time out of their Easter holidays to hit the streets of Douglas from midday.

The Isle of Man Student Climate Network hopes to inspire the Manx government to take more action.

More than 150 students stood outside legislative buildings last month to draw attention to environmental issues.

Bill Henderson MLC was among a number of Tynwald members to join the protesters.
