Follows issues with 'grey water' in River Neb
Manx Utilities says it's carried out a 'full clean' at St John's sewage works which had been causing issues in a tributary of the River Neb.
Earlier this summer, the Isle of Man Friends of the Earth group highlighted an area where 'grey water' was being discharged.
The MUA says it's since carried out an investigation and found issues with an old filter bed system, which is due to be upgraded 'as quickly as possible'.
The authority collects samples from the discharge zone every two weeks. This will now be carried out weekly, instead.
