Wind speeds 'exceeding current safe limits' for Douglas Harbour
The Manxman has left Douglas Harbour to 'seek shelter' as Storm Isha begins to surround the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company issued the update as the flagship vessel was seen leaving the Island, despite all of today's sailings being cancelled.
In a statement issued on social media, a company spokesperson said: "Due to the severe weather of Storm Isha, all further sailings are cancelled today.
"As wind speeds are exceeding current safe limits for Douglas Harbour Manxman has headed out to sea to seek shelter."
