Andrew Baker nearing end of challenge despite broken equipment
A Manxman rowing across the Atlantic in aid of three charities is making good progress - despite suffering damage to his boat.
Andrew Baker set off from Portugal at the start of December and is now around three to four weeks from the finish in the Bahamas.
He's completing the challenge to raise funds for the Manx Wildlife Trust, Reach IOM and Whistleblowers UK.
The piece of equipment that keeps his boat heading in the right direction has broken but his girlfriend, Lucy Partington, says Andrew was prepared for things to go wrong:
