Steam Packet vessel turned back during Sunday's Heysham voyage
Despite turning back en route to Heysham with technical problems yesterday, the Manxman appears to be set to sail as scheduled today.
The Steam Packet's flagship vessel, which arrived brand-new to the Island in July, began sailing at a pace of 5 knots on her journey to Lancashire on Sunday due to what was described as an 'issue with the propulsion system'.
It's not yet known exactly what the issue was, however the latest sailing schedule shows Manxman carrying out this morning's voyage to Heysham at 8:45am.
Any updates will be shared as soon as possible.
