Tonight's Heysham crossings called off
Tonight's Manxman sailings to Heysham and back have been cancelled due to a 'technical issue' on board the Manxman.
The ferry was due to depart Douglas at 7:45pm and return from the Lancashire port at 2:15am.
A statement issued shortly after the scheduled departure time explained it wouldn't be going ahead.
No other information has been given as to the nature of the problem.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet says: ‘The cause of the technical issue is being fully investigated but currently the expectation is Manxman will depart as scheduled on Tuesday’s 08:45 sailing to Heysham.'
'The Company would like to apologise to any customers affected by tonight’s cancellation.’
