455 patients referred to cancer service
The number of patients referred for cancer treatment in May was the highest ever.
Manx Care received 455 referrals in May - 75 more than at the same time last year.
The increased demand coincided with the deterioration in the rate of patients meeting the two-week target for new referrals, with just 40 per cent being seen within 14 days.
