Chief adds voice to global reaction
MPs will vote later on Theresa May's bid to hold a UK General Election on 8 June.
Her announcement came somewhat out of the blue yesterday, with some politicians commentators branding the announcement 'cynical' - and others calling it a 'stunning move'.
Mrs May says she wants 'stability and certainty' ahead of Brexit.
At home, Chief Minister Howard Quayle has said it's too early to judge what impact this could have on the Isle of Man.
