'Mean-spirited' theft from Bride church

Collection box forced open

Police are investigating the theft of money from a donation box at a church in the north of the Island

The cash was taken from one at St Bridget's Church in Bride some time between Sunday, May 24 and Saturday, June 6.

 

The donation box was near the entrance and had been forced open.

 

Sergeant Lund says, "This is a mean-spirited theft which resulted in little gain and we appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us".
