Manx government has moral obligation
A Manx nationalist party has called out the government for causing 'deprivation' in its own and other jurisdictions, amid allegations of tax avoidance.
In a statement Mec Vannin says the Quayle administration must take moral responsibility for its part in 'hiding funds from rightful recipients'.
The group says the Manx government is 'morally obliged' to put the issue right over what it terms a tax scandal, and not place the onus on the UK government to remedy issues.
