Fringe events to be laid on for locals
The Manx public will be warmly welcomed at next year's Celtic Media Festival, where many fringe events are to laid on for locals.
So say organisers of the 2017 festival to be held in Douglas next May, who've been in the Island to set up a local committee.
Island media organisations including Manx Radio and Isle of Man Film Festival, along with University College and Culture Vannin, have been invited to join.
Together they will ensure a wide variety of locally-focused events, such as screenings, Q&As and a showcase for local talent, are included in the programme.
Festival director Catriona Logan says the committee plays a vital role:
