Middle MHK stands by his comments
An MHK says a £26 million loss of tax payers money should not be subject to a government investigation.
Following outrage from Kate Beecroft MHK, member for Middle Bill Shimmins has stood by his comments in Tynwald after a trust linked to the Island's film industry incurred massive losses.
Mr Shimmins said setting up a Tynwald select committee to look into the Media Development Fund would not be cost effective.
