A memorial walk in memory of a fire services staff member on the Island takes place tomorrow (Sunday, April 26th).
The 9th consecutive annual Sara Killey memorial walk is from from Peel to Ramsey fire station.
One hundred and eighty three walkers have signed-up for this year's event, which starts at 8.30am.
The route follows the coast road to Kirk Michael and picks up the parish walk route to Sulby bridge, finishing in Ramsey, a total of around 30 miles.
Chief Fire Officer Kevin Groom recalls how the event began:
Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
