Men on Island encouraged to mark International Men's Day

Soul Adventures Isle of Man to host second event in Laxey

Today is International Men's Day (19 November) with the theme of 'Men's Health Champions'.

Last year a special free all-day event was held to mark the occasion here on the Isle of Man.

Following its success Soul Adventures Isle of Man have organised another for later this month.

Organisers Kate Leavey-Bergquist and Gary Thomas told Manx Radio it's all about helping men open up in a comfortable environment:

This year's event is being hosted by Stuart Clague Services at the Salmon Centre in Laxey on 30 November.

It is free and open to all.
