Meanwhile, some Manx businesses say they suffer a drop in trade during the Manx Grand Prix and TT despite the influx of visitors.
In a social media post, one business in Douglas says 'the reality' can often be an empty restaurant on race days - other traders shared similar experiences, saying "TT and MGP have been the quietest weeks for us!"
