Caine misses out on selection
The MHK who called for a Tynwald Select Committee to review the future provision and funding of Manx Radio admits she would like to have been one of the members chosen to serve on the body.
Whilst the court backed Daphne Caine's motion, she wasn't selected as one of the committee members to look into the Island's public service broadcast offering.
She believes this may have been because Tynwald members thought there could be a conflict of interest.
Speaking on Mandate this morning (Wed) she said despite some of the comments made during the debate, she doesn't think any members of the court are opposed to Manx Radio's existence.
The committee, made up of MHK's Dr Alex Allinson and Tim Crookall and SHK Juan Watterson, will report back to Tynwald in July.
