Concern over delay to raise early retirement age
There's a call for an emergency debate in Tynwald on public sector pensions.
It's come from Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw who was the minister at the time when the original reforms to the scheme were drawn up.
Mr Robertshaw is concerned the proposal to raise the early retirement age from 55 to 58 has been put on hold.
He says he was dismayed to hear this on the same day Treasury Minister Eddie Teare announced people will have to work longer before they receive a state pension.
