Moorhouse doesn't think Isle of Man should wait for UK decision
An MHK doesn't think the Isle of Man should wait to see what the UK does to solve the issue of pension rights for women born in the early 1950s.
Those born between April 1950 and December 1953 could have to work longer to receive the full state pension, but plans to raise the pension age for this age group are being challenged in a judicial review.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse wants to know how many women on the Island could be affected by this move.
He's calling for Treasury to come up with a solution as soon as possible:
