Member concerned about maintenance at swimming pool
The education minister has been asked to show 'proper leadership' in the ongoing refurbishment work to the NSC pool.
Graham Cregeen faced questions about repairs and maintenance to the moveable floor at this morning's sitting of the House of Keys.
The minister confirmed a fault was fixed by the contractor without charge, but Douglas North member Ralph Peake expressed concern with other aspects of the pool.
Mr Peake was unhappy with what he saw during a recent swimming gala:

Ralph Peake is a swimming coach and one of the parties behind proposals for a £6 million sports complex at KWC which includes a 50 metre pool.
Graham Cregeen says his department will "push on" with a replacement southern pool as part of the new Castle Rushen High School development.
