Thomas wants Manx Government to be ready to react
A Douglas Central MHK says he hopes the Isle of Man Government is ready to react to the UK’s new Economic Crime Bill.
It was rushed through the House of Commons without opposition earlier this week.
The legislation will be used to crack down on overseas criminal organisations which buy buildings and land for money laundering purposes.
It's believed the bill will strengthen the UK Government's ability to tackle Russian interests in Britain.
