Cregeen resigned to loss of branch
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Graham Cregeen says it now looks inevitable the Castletown branch of Isle of Man Bank will close early in the new year.
It echoes similar recent statements from Peel and Glenfaba members Geoffrey Boot and Ray Harmer over the Peel service which faces the same fate.
Mr Cregeen says he can't understand why the Castletown facility is being axed in the south of the island rather than Port Erin:
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Isle of Man population edges upward to 84,975 as migration drives growth
