Joney Faragher to request leave to introduce Private Members Bill
An MHK has outlined plans to secure the provision of free period products on the Island.
In the House of Keys next week, Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher will request leave to introduce a Private Members' Bill on the matter.
Earlier this year she backed a campaign by the group Manx Menstrual Movement which hopes, like Scotland, to make period products freely available to anyone who needs them.
Ms Faragher she wants it to address period poverty in two ways:
Bus services to return to normal following latest strike action
Inquest into death of MGP competitor reconvened
Chief minister calls extraordinary meeting to discuss impact of Middle East conflict
Government responds to reports linking new Iranian leader to Island-registered company
