Joney Faragher to request leave to introduce Private Members Bill
An MHK has outlined plans to secure the provision of free period products on the Island.
In the House of Keys next week, Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher will request leave to introduce a Private Members' Bill on the matter.
Earlier this year she backed a campaign by the group Manx Menstrual Movement which hopes, like Scotland, to make period products freely available to anyone who needs them.
Ms Faragher she wants it to address period poverty in two ways:
Pharmacists 'uncomfortable' over proposed contract changes
Local heritage group urging residents to object to demolition of school building
Man whose son died from meningitis urges people to take up vaccine offer
