Management structure at RCH under review
A GP and politician says he has been reassured by health chiefs over changes at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
From the end of January, doctors from the town’s group practice will no longer provide inpatient care.
Instead, there’ll be two new full-time doctors with responsibility at the hospital with 10 extra beds.
Dr Alex Allinson acknowledges there may be a transitional period.
However, he and colleague Lawrie Hooper want to ensure services in Ramsey and the north operate to a high standard regardless.
