Ashford wants to ensure Manx Care doesn't recruit from struggling countries
An MHK wants the Island to adopt a Code of Practice to prevent Manx Care recruiting staff from countries with struggling health services.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford will bring a motion to May's sitting of Tynwald.
He says the health minister has previously confirmed the Island 'acknowledges' the code, but he wants to see it officially adopted and implemented.
Despite that, Mr Ashford told Manx Radio he doesn't believe Manx Care would recruit from those countries anyway:
