Concerned over claims it's costing £300 to 'kit out a student'
Some parents are already concerned about how they’ll afford to pay for new school uniforms when the next academic year starts.

Today, in Tynwald, he’ll quiz the education minister about the importance of school uniform policy and the impact of costs on family budgets.
The former teacher says it’s a ‘huge concern’ for parents some of whom are estimating it will cost around £300:
Speaking in Tynwald, Julie Edge says that while schools can set their own uniform policies, her department will launch a public consultation into the matter.
