Business provides clarity after consumer concern
New eco-friendly packaging won't push up the price of milk.
Isle of Man Creamery has provided clarity on the matter, after suggestions a move to smaller, plant-based cartons would see consumers paying the same for less milk.
Milk sold in the new cartons, which come in at just under a pint, will be sold at 55p for 500ml or £1 per litre.
The company has now unveiled its new pricing structure, after announcing the move away from single-use plastics last week.
It says the cartons will be 'the most environmentally friendly packaging available'.
Milk will still be available in standard two or four pint plastic bottles.
