More trees planted to fill gaps, 20 years on
The Millennium Oakwood is starting to come into its own, after more trees were planted to fill in some gaps there.
Planted 20 years ago as a millennium year project, the wood is situated below Noble's Hospital in Braddan.
Some had commented it was beginning to look a bit sparse in places, with many of the trees on the upper half not having taken.
But, a real effort is now underway to produce a wood to be proud of.
