Firm's branding met DED regulations
The Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says family business Manx Inspirations' TT merchandise was legal and above board.
The last licence for the company to use TT branding was issued in 2010 - there hasn't been a request for a renewal, as the firm is no longer selling the stock.
It follows threats from the DED to sue Bushy's Brewery over the use of its Bushy's TT trademark, although a 'co-existence' agreement was reached yesterday (Jan 6).
On a train bound for Barcelona with his wife - who's the owner and operator of the company - he said the official branding was obtained in line with DED regulations:
