Minister disappointed at anonymous letters

A government minister says he’s disappointed and saddened after a series of anonymous letters were sent to his department.

Phil Gawne says the anti-DEFA activity has only arisen since he tabled an ultimately unsuccessful motion to abolish the Legislative Council last week.

The Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister is concerned the criticism has come from a fellow politician in the upper chamber.
