Commissioners call for public grilling over courthouse
The ongoing sale of Ramsey Courthouse will be the subject of a public requisition meeting this week.
Ramsey Commissioners yesterday (Mon) confirmed they would be making the Department of Home Affairs a £400,000 offer for the building, pending board approval.
MHKs for the town, as well as Garff, Ayre & Michael, and Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey, have been invited to the meeting - which takes place on Friday (17 March) at 7pm in the Ramsey Grammar School West Building.
Commissioner Eric Corkish says the Department has so far acted in haste, and against the will of residents:
Calls for more education on diabetes in Isle of Man schools
Yellow weather warning issued ahead of more heavy rain
Concert to commemorate 80th Anniversary of end of WWII
