Dispute with flume subcontractors continues
There are hopes the National Sports Centre may be fully operational early in the New Year, but there's still no definitive date.
An ongoing row with the subcontractors over the unfinished flume ride, added to problems with the pool's raising floor, has plagued the swimming facility.
Arguments over who will pay for completing the flume in a way which is acceptable in health and safety terms continue with the Turkish firm subcontracted to do the work.
