Boot defends 10-member delegation
An MHK says it was a 'fairly low cost exercise' to send a delegation of ten Isle of Man politicians to Jersey's state assembly.
The group of MHKs and MLCs visited the channel island on a Commonwealth Parliamentary Association trip.
The aim of the visit was to share and learn from the experiences of their counterparts.
The Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture Geoffrey Boot says the cost was modest:
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
Isle of Man economy contracts for second year
