Final visitor figures expected soon
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says it’ll be a few weeks before the government can give definitive figures for this year’s TT visitor numbers.
But he says anecdotally the Island seemed busier than ever, with more people attending the racing than at any year since 2007’s centenary.
Mr Skelly says a passenger survey carried out at the Sea Terminal will provide better data once it’s been analysed.
And he says it’s not just bike fans who are increasingly coming here, with huge media interest from around the world:
