Mark of respect for Manx footballing great
There will be a minute of applause before all football matches this weekend in tribute to Sam Kenny.
He was one of the most successful and respected figures in Manx Football over the last 35 years.
He passed away early on Monday at the age of 56.
Speaking on last night's Friday Football Focus special programme, friend and former team mate Johnny Gartland recounted a tale from a Railway Cup final in the mid-1980s, when the pair played for Gymns.
He said for him it summed up Sam perfectly
