
People concerned about a missing plaque off the Ramsey War Memorial are being reassured.
The plaque has been taken off to be cleaned.
The Commissioners removed it after reports it had become loose.
It is on the west face of the memorial and comprises names of some of the Ramsey residents who were killed during the First World War.
The memorial has recently been surveyed by a specialist stone mason as part of ongoing maintenance.
The plaque, which has not been damaged, will be back in place ahead of the annual Service of Remembrance.
