MLC airs Meals on Wheels concerns

Subsidy for service to end on Friday

An MLC is asking healthcare bosses why Meals on Wheels customers aren't being properly cared for as the subsidy is cut.

There are two alternative suppliers functioning without aid, which has totalled  around £150,000 for the benefit of 300 people.

More than 80 of those served by the organisation are aged between 90 and 102 - many of them have yet to find another supplier.
