Organisers again defend condensed nine-day schedule
The condensed MGP schedule is largely down to making sure there are enough medics and marshals available for racing to take place.
That's according to the Manx MotorCycle Club which is again defending its move to a nine-day programme.
Like this year, the Manx Grand Prix will run across nine days in its 100th year for 2023 from 20 August to 28 August.
MMCC Chair, John McBride, insists they as organisers aren't 'out of touch' with fans and riders over the matter:
Wind farm debate to continue before committee
Call for compensation scheme for workers who become ill after contact with asbestos
Manx WWII veteran hopeful King will 'treasure' Island visit for the rest of his life
