
The Manx National Farmers' Union is welcoming calls for an increase in food and drink production on the Island.
Castletown MHK Richard Ronan has tabled a motion to be brought before Tynwald this month asking for a 'clear strategy' to increase the industry to represent seven per cent of the Island's GDP by 2025.
It's an ambitious target, and Mr Ronan wants to see a plan in place within the next six months.
And Belinda Leach, the general secretary for the MNFU, says all sections of the production chain need to be involved:
