Tests to be carried out on skeleton
The Giant Deer on display at the Manx Museum is to be studied and laser cleaned as part of a conservation programme.
It was excavated in 1897 and has been on display in the museum since the 1950s.
New tests will now be carried out to establish more about how the deer came to the Island.
