Moorhouse has seven of 13 HoK questions

Animal Welfare Bill also due for debate

Just one MHK is asking the majority of the questions in today's House of Keys.

The sitting will get underway at 10am.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse, a frequent questioner, has seven of the 13 tabled on the order paper.

He'll ask Education Minister Julie Edge to give a statement about union action in schools.

He also asks about housing support for teaching staff and requires a statement on the purchase of land bordering Arbory School.

In addition, he wants to hear more from her about the external report on swimming pools.

North Douglas MHK David Ashford will ask about repayment of Covid loans, simplifying the disability living allowance, the TT access road and on the times that capacity has been reached on school buses this school year.

Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood wants to know more about possible flapgate failure in Manx harbours and funding for the One World Centre.

Following question time clauses to the Animal Welfare Bill will be debated and the Energy Bill will get its third reading.

You can listen to Manx Radio's House of Key's coverage online and via our 1368AM frequency.
