More people will end up paying for prescriptions, and dental care from June, if Tynwald backs Department of Health proposals next week.
The department wants to change the age for entitlement to exemption from dental and prescription charges so as to be in line with state pension age.
Free access to dental care will also be for under-16s, rather than under-18s in future, if the amendments are approved.
