The Environment Minister says rising sea levels will bring more coastal flooding to the Island.
Although flooding during the past week has been described as a once in 50 year event, Phil Gawne believes an increase over the coming decades means we can expect more damage and disruption.
Mr Gawne says critical infrastructure needs to be in place for both current and future generations.
