Final sessions before examining body considers recommendations
More hearings will take place later this month into the proposals for an 87-turbine windfarm off the Island's east coast.
The examining body looking into Orsted's plans will hold a public meeting on 13 July at the Promenade Suite in the Villa Marina.
The meeting gets underway at 4pm.
Organisers say they decided to hold this public meeting closer to the location of the proposed development following feedback from the public.
There will also be three specific issue hearings at the Comis Golf Club later in the week:
- Wednesday 15 July - seascape, landscape and visual impact, and Groudle Glen
- Thursday 16 July - environmental matters
- Friday 17 July - draft marine infrastructure consent and strategic matters
The sessions will be streamed live and available to watch afterwards on YouTube.
These will be the final hearings before the panel completes its examination and submits a report to the Council of Ministers.
A decision on whether or not to grant consent is due by 12 January 2027.
