Artist calls for more opportunities for talent
There must be more job opportunities on the Island for creative professionals, according to local artist Juan Moore.
He says finding employment is a struggle for arts graduates, with any creative projects often coming 'off their own back' for little repayment.
As a member of the Isle of Man Arts Council, Mr Moore championed the idea of having an artist-in-residence at the new Henry Bloom Noble Primary School in Douglas.
He says the new school is the perfect place for a budding artist to get their feet of the ground.
