New report from British Heart Foundation 'sobering'
A Manx charity has described a new report from the British Heart Foundation, which shows people are 'severely underestimating the scale and seriousness' of coronary heart disease as 'sobering'.
It also shows the disease is not always seen as a woman’s problem despite being twice as likely to die of coronary heart disease as breast cancer.
John Bourbon, Chairman of the Manx Heart Foundation, says it's a common misconception:
Isle of Man economy contracts for second year
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
Job Centre unable to reliably identify duplicate vacancies
Airport warns high winds could impact flights
