Tonnes of king scallops brought ashore this weekend
There needs to be more protection of the Island’s scallops stocks.

The start of the new season this week saw several tonnes of king scallops brought ashore and taken off-Island.
Dr David Beard says the numbers of foreign vessels able to take advantage of the Manx conservation methods is putting a strain on our scallop industry.
