Edmund Southworth discusses Laxey Wheel repairs
Old age is the main reason for the troubles facing one of the Island's most historic landmarks, according to the Director of Manx National Heritage.
The Laxey Wheel stopped turning in September after two separate failures needing to be repaired.
MNH and Treasury have agreed a deal to split the cost of restoring The Lady Isabella, aiming to have the waterwheel turning again by next year's tourist season.
