Manx workers take advantage of Cycle to Work initiative
More than 400 bicycles have been purchased through the Government's Cycle to Work tax exemption scheme.
The Treasury included the incentive in its 2017-18 budget to encourage more Manx residents to travel to and from work by cycling.
So far, over 400 bikes have been sold by on-Island bike shops through the initiative, which aims to improve the fitness and health of locals.
Employees can seek up to £1000 to put towards buying a new bicycle and equipment such as helmets and lights under the three-year programme, which runs until April 2020.
