Subjects offered mirror UCM courses
More than half of prisoners on the Island attend education, whilst they are inside.
56% of those currently in the Isle of Man prison in Jurby are attending some kind of learning.
That's more than 20% more than in the UK, with 33% taking advantage of the opportunities.
Prison education manager Fiona Robertson says the subjects vary from English and Maths to Psychology and Cookery, but they mirror those provided at University College Isle of Man.
